Shaykh Anwar Adamson

Since a young age Anwar Adamson was always keen on knowing more about his religion. He started his studies at the very young age of 10 when he became fluent in the Quran. He later completed his hifth at the tender age of 15. While he was doing his hifth he taught others how to recite the Quran. At the age of 18 he left Cape Town and embarked on studies in Cairo where he studied Arabic grammar and morphology. He also obtained a sanad and ijaazah(licence to teach with chain of readers leading up to the Prophet (SAW) ) in the recitation of Hafs ‘an ‘Aasim. In 2004 he was accepted to study in the Islamic University of Madeenah where he graduated with a BA Honours from the Faculty of Hadeeth. Since his return he has been teaching various classes, giving lectures and seminars. He has gained more than 14 years experience in making learning the Quran easy. He fell in love with the Arabic language, its beauty and its eloquence especially when listening to the glorious Quran. He is always more than happy to share what he has learnt.

Shaykh Luqman Plato

Luqman Plato hails from the shores of Cape Town, South Africa. He always had a keen sense of enthusiasm to studying Islam. After secondary education, he furthered his studies at the Darul Arqam Institute, where he achieved a Higher Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies. By the grace of Allah (SWA), he got accepted to study at the one of the most renowned universities in the world, the Islamic University of Madinah, where he completed the two year Arabic Diploma Course, and thereafter he became one of the very few graduates of South Africa, who has graduated from the Faculty of Arabic Language in January 2012. Since his return to Cape Town, he has been very actively involved in teaching Arabic, Fiqh, Tafseer and other subjects as well at various institutions, mosques and also offers private Arabic and Islamic studies sessions. He is currently an online Arabic Tutorial Assistant for the Islamic Online University. He often lectures at various Mosques.

Shaykh Washfie Saal

Sheikh Washfie Saal is a dedicated student who has a great passion for teaching. Since his youth he has been involved in various projects of developing and educating the community. He started his studies locally where he studied Arabic and developed a profound love for Arabic language and Islamic studies. He then left the shores of Cape Town in 2004 to further his studies at The State Islamic University of Indonesia, Jakarta. Here he majored in Islamic finance and graduated with a BA honours degree in 2010. Whilst in Indonesia he has developed his teaching methods where he taught English as a foreign language to non-native speakers. On his return home he has been giving lectures at various masaajied in Cape Town. He is very excited to impart his knowledge to all those who has a similar love and passion for the language.
